Welcome to "Patriot Customs", a veteran owned and operated shop.
This is my personal twist on a "Spartan" sword that the Spartans used in Greece. If you have seen the movie "300", then you have seen what this is based off of.
The sword is made of 5160 steel. 5160 steel is exceptionally tough and resilient. It sports a high level of resistance to fatigue, has high ductility, and has good spring qualities useful for applications where flexibility is desired. It is, therefore, part of the “spring steels”, which represent those alloys that are both flexible but have enough strength to return to their original shape post-deformation.
The sword has a nice mirror polished as you can see in the pictures.
